Community Enhancement Collaborative in THE Palo Verde Valley
"Accelerating the future of the Palo Verde Valley, now; building a collaborative and sustainable community with targeted investments."
The Palo Verde Irrigation District (PVID) and the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD) are excited to announce the formation of a new partnership to provide funds to the local economy within the PVID service area. Designated board members from PVID and MWD have been working together for several months to develop the framework for effective administration of these funds, which stands as a testament to their commitment towards enhancing the quality of life for the area.
The Community Enhancement Collaborative (CEC) program will have more than $8 million in grant funds to disperse to qualified applicants with the sole goal to generate short- and long-term economic and social benefits. The CEC will be assisted by the Community Advisory Committee (CAC), who will provide initial review and recommendations of each grant application. We are excited to have a diverse group of community members serving on the CAC.
